Refund policy

1. Our Commitment to Zero-Waste Freshness

Because Gutfinity staples are made-to-order based on verified consumer demand, we maintain a strict, low-working-capital inventory framework. Every single package produced has a designated home. Consequently, we do not accept physical returns of food products, nor do we offer refunds for change-of-mind, flavor preferences, or accidental orders once production has commenced.

This strict policy allows us to eliminate massive food waste, maintain our clean-label sourcing integrity, and keep our pricing honest and accessible.

2. Standard Cancellation & Refund Windows

We offer buyers total flexibility to reverse a transaction, provided the request does not disrupt our manufacturing logistics:

  • Eligible for Full Refund: If you place an order or your subscription renews, and you choose to cancel prior to the order entering our system (within 2 hours of payment or before the daily production batching cutoff), you are entitled to a 100% refund to your original payment method. Please contact us immediately at care.gutifinity@gmail.com for urgent, same-day cancellations.

  • Ineligible for Refund: Once an order moves into the ~7-day production and milling cycle, raw ingredients are structurally assigned to your order, and it can no longer be canceled, refunded, or modified.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Tampered Shipments

We hold our manufacturing, boxing, and fulfillment processes to meticulous quality control standards. However, if your order is compromised during transit, we provide a definitive protection protocol for our buyers:

  • Reporting Window: Any claims regarding damaged, punctured, defective, or incorrect products must be submitted to our support team within 48 hours of documented courier delivery. Reports submitted after this 48-hour window will not be eligible for resolution due to the perishable nature of fresh, un-preserved food.

  • Submission Criteria: To initiate a claim, please email care.gutifinity@gmail.com with:

    • Your full name and Order/Subscription ID number.

    • Clear, high-resolution photographs illustrating the external shipping box damage, internal product packaging breach, or incorrect labeling.

  • Resolution Process: Upon verifying the structural compromise or packing error, Gutfinity will immediately offer one of two remedies (at the customer's discretion):

    • Expedited Replacement: We will dispatch a pristine replacement product immediately, drawing from our 5-10% production safety buffer stock.

    • Account Credit: We will apply a full financial credit to your account, waiving the payment due for your subsequent monthly billing cycle.

4. Refund Processing Timelines

When a valid refund is approved (either due to an eligible cancellation or an unresolvable transit issue), the credit is initiated immediately. Please allow 5 to 10 banking business days for the funds to clear and appear on your original payment statement, depending entirely on your financial institution's processing speeds.
